VMSC ("we", "our", "us") is a desktop application developed by Vryionic that enables streamers to create interactive experiences by connecting various platforms and hardware devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use VMSC and related services.

2.1 Account Information

When you authenticate with VMSC via Patreon, we receive:

• Your Patreon user ID and display name
• Your Patreon email address
• Your Patreon membership/pledge status (to verify Premium access)

2.2 Platform Connection Data

When you connect third-party platforms (TikTok, Twitch, VRChat, etc.), VMSC processes connection tokens locally on your machine. We do not store your third-party credentials on our servers.

2.3 Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage statistics to improve the software, such as:

• Application version and update status
• Feature usage frequency (anonymized)
• Crash reports and error logs (if you opt in)

2.4 Device Information

VMSC interacts with hardware devices (such as PiShock) locally on your machine through APIs and protocols. Device identifiers and configuration remain stored locally and are not transmitted to our servers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify your Patreon membership status for Premium features
• Provide and maintain the VMSC application and services
• Improve software stability and performance
• Provide customer support via Discord

4. Data Storage & Security

VMSC is a local-first application. The majority of your data — including platform tokens, device configurations, event rules, and preferences — is stored locally on your computer and never leaves your machine.

Our authentication server uses Cloudflare-proxied connections with origin certificates for transport-layer security.

5. Third-Party Services

VMSC integrates with third-party platforms. Each platform has its own privacy policy that governs the data they collect:

• Patreon — Authentication and membership verification
• TikTok — Live stream event data (chat, gifts, follows)
• Twitch — Stream event data via EventSub
• VRChat — OSC communication (local network only)
• PiShock — Device control via their API
• Streamer.bot — Local WebSocket communication

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to VMSC.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal obligations or law enforcement requests
